Spicy Lime Cilantro Peanuts

  • 3 Cups-Raw Peanuts
  • 3 Tablespoons-Kosher Salt     
  • 1 Each-Lime-zest and juice (3 Tablespoons
  • 1 ½ Tablespoon-Unsalted Butter
  • ¼ Teaspoons-Cayenne
  • ½ Teaspoon-Crushed Red Pepper         
  • 2 Teaspoons-Ground Cumin
  • 3 Tablespoons-Fresh Cilantro


  1. Bring a medium stock pot of water to a boil and stir in 2 tablespoons of salt until dissolved.
  2. Add peanuts and cook for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Drain peanuts and warm a nonstick sauté pan over medium heat.
  4. Add peanuts, lime juice and toss to coat.
  5. Add butter and toss to melt.
  6. Add lime zest, cayenne, crushed red pepper, cumin and toss to coat.
  7. Remove from heat, add remaining tablespoon salt, cilantro, toss to coat and serve warm.
